To use the “Keep Downloaded” option in macOS Sequoia, navigate to your iCloud Drive in Finder, right-click on a file or folder you want to keep downloaded locally, and select “Keep Downloaded” from the context menu.
This ensures that the item will always remain on your Mac, even if your storage is low and the system tries to optimize space by offloading files to iCloud. This feature prevents important files from being automatically removed from your Mac to free up storage space when needed.
