With iPadOS 18, Apple has made it easier to customize and arrange your iPad home screen.
To customize your tablet’s home screen in iPadOS 18, touch and hold on an empty area of the home screen, then tap “Edit” and select “Customize.” This will allow you to change the appearance of your icons, add widgets, adjust icon sizes, and apply color tints to match your preference. You can also change the wallpaper and choose between light and dark mode from this menu.
To access the customization menu, touch and hold an empty space on your home screen until the icons start to jiggle. Tap the “Edit” option that appears at the top of the screen. From the edit menu, tap “Customize” to access customization options. These are iPadOS 18’s customization features:
° Add widgets: Use the “Add Widget” option to add various widgets to your home screen.
° Change icon size: Adjust the size of your app icons by selecting “Large” or “Small.”
° Apply color tints: Use the color sliders or eyedropper tool to add a custom color tint to your app icons.
° Switch between light and dark mode: Toggle between light and dark mode appearance directly from the customization menu.
° Wallpaper selection: Choose a new wallpaper from the customization options.
