Since a law banned TikTok is implemented today in the U.S., Apple has removed the app owned by the Chinese company ByteDance from the App Store in the U.S., although the ban was quickly lifted.

TikTok is now showing the following notice to users who open the app in the country:

A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the U.S. Unfortunately, that means you can’t use TikTok for now.

We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!

What’s more, as noted by MacRumors, Apple has updated its beta testing app TestFlight, seemingly to block U.S. users from accessing the TikTok beta on the iPhone and other devices.
