Some great products rolled out in 2024. It was hard to narrow them down, but here are my top 10 favorite hardware products, along with links to my full review:
The 16-inch MacBook Pro: 24-inch iMac used to be my favorite Mac, but was replaced last year by the 16-inch MacBook Pro. The biggie-sized laptop is the most practical computer for me at this stage in my life. And my latest is one equipped with the M4 Pro.
Satechi‘s US$149.99 Dual Dock Stand: This docking station with a NVMe SSD Enclosure is now my favorite MacBook Pro accessory. It not only serves as a stand for my 16-inch laptop, but also makes it easy to have more storage available within paying Apple’s exorbitant SSD upgrade pricing.
Logitech CASA POP-Up Desk: Apple World Today is a small operation, so when I go on vacation, Yours Truly still has to keep the site updated. I’ve found that the Logitech CASA POP-Up Desk is a great accessory to help me work while traveling.
MX Keys Mini: Logitech’s MX Keys Mini is a better keyboard than Apple’s Magic Keyboard, assuming you can live without the Touch ID button.
iPhone 16 Pro Max: It’s not a revolutionary upgrade, but it’s a solid one with some cool new enhancements.
VR Panda’s Halo Strap: VR Panda’s Halo Strap is the product I’ve been waiting for since buying the Apple Vision Pro. When wearing it, turn it upwards below to eliminate the pressure of the Vision Pro’s face cover on the cheekbones of the face and achieve optimal comfort.
Apple Watch Series 10: I moved from an Apple Watch Ultra 2 to an Apple Watch Series 10 and have no regrets.
NEO A Frost Edition: This feature-packed game controller is fun for both casual and hardware gamers.
Monster DNA One: This speaker sounds almost as good as the full-size HomePod at about half the price. And it sounds better than the HomePod mini.
MAGEASY EasyPaper Pro: This item offers an excellent screen protector for an iPad Pro.
By the way, the M4 iPad Pro might have made the list — IF iPadOS were better.
