Apple Vision ProOpinions

I’d buy an M5 Apple Vision Pro if one thing were possible

You may one day be able to control a Vision Pro by moving your head. Apple has been granted a patent (number US 12026302 B2) for “Controlling a Device Setting Using Head Pose.”

Apple is rumored to launch an updated Vision Pro with an M5 processor in late 2025 or 2026. I’d buy one if one thing were possible.

I’d want to be able to use the new spatial computer along with my current one to share content with other folks. In other words, I’d want to be able to use Vision Pros in tandem to share immersive videos with my wife, kids, grandkids, etc.

Currently, the spatial computer is a solitary experience. And as much as I love it, that limits the amount of time I’m willing to wear it at a stretch.

That said, I really enjoy using the Vision Pro. And I’m eagerly awaiting the final release of visionOS 2.2 so I can use it as a display with my MacBook Pro in Wide and Ultrawide display options.

I also wonder if/when Apple releases the Vision Pro 2 if it allow trade-ins of the current model at a reason price.
