The tab bar morphs into the sidebar when you need/want to deeper into an app’s full functionality. It also offers refined animations that make apps feel even more fluid and responsive. Plus, there’s an updated document browser that gives apps a distinct look and feel when accessing documents in apps like Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and Swift Playgrounds. Let’s look at how to use the new Tab bar:

° Access the sidebar: Depending on the app, tap the sidebar icon (usually located in the top left corner) to open the sidebar.

° Add items to the tab bar: Drag and drop items from the sidebar onto the tab bar to add them to the quick access options.

° Remove items from the tab bar: Drag items from the tab bar back into the sidebar to remove them.

° Rearrange items: Within the tab bar, drag and drop items to change their order.
