How to use the Check In feature in watchOS 11

watchOS 11 has a Tap to Cash feature that allows you to send or receive Apple Cash by holding two iPhone or Apple Watch devices together.

Check In is a safety feature in watchOS 11 that allows you to notify friends and family when they arrive at a destination or finish a workout.

You can start a Check In from the Messages app by specifying your destination, how you’re traveling, and adding extra time if needed. Check In will monitor your journey and notify your friend if you don’t arrive as expected.

You can start a Check In from the Workout app by swiping right and tapping Check In. The last contact you sent a check-in to will be selected by default, but you can choose someone else. If your workout isn’t progressing as expected, you’ll receive a notification and have 15 minutes to continue or cancel the check-in.

Check In will also prompt you to respond if it notices you’re not progressing as expected, your speed increases dramatically, or if your heart rate goes down close to your resting during an intense workout
