I don’t think Apple will release an ‘iPhone SE 4 Plus’

LG Innotech and LG Display will supply cameras and displays for Apple's upcoming fourth generation iPhone SE to be released in 2025.

As noted by MacRumors, Japanese blog Mac Otakara shared images of alleged iPhone SE 4 dummy units, claiming there could be both 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch models in development. The Sellers Research Group says this isn’t happening.

I’m 99% sure there won’t be an “iPhone SE 4 Plus” model, though an updated iPhone SE is likely in early to mid-2025. Here’s what the rumor mill says you can expect:

° Apple’s first 5G modem, as well as an A18 chip with 8GB of RAM;

° The same 1170 x 2532 display resolution as the 6.1-inch iPhone 14;

° Flat sides and an OLED display with a notch at the top;

° The same 48MP wide camera and 12MP front camera as the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus (but no ultra-wide or telephoto lenses);

° FaceID added, replacing the Home button with TouchID on the current model.
