1. Go to the Notes app on your iPhone.
2. In a note, tap , then tap Scan Text.
3. Position iPhone so that the text appears within the camera frame.
4. Drag or use grab points to select text, then tap Insert.

How to scan a document into a note

1. Go to the Notes app on your iPhone.

1. In a note, tap , then tap Scan Documents.
2. Position iPhone so that the document page appears on the screen; iPhone automatically captures the page.
3. To manually capture the page, tap or press a volume button. To turn the flash on or off, tap .
4. Scan additional pages, then tap Save when you’re done.
   The document is saved as a PDF in the note.
