The ANNAPRO Head Strap is arguably the best third party Apple Vision Pro available

ANNAPRO Head Strap for the Apple Vision Pro

There aren’t a lot of third-party Apple Vision Pro accessories. But the absolute best may be the US$39.99 ANNAPRO Head Strap, which allows me to wear the spatial computer for hours with little discomfort.

The biggest complain about the Vision Pro (well, except for its price tag) is that it’s uncomfortable to wear for long stretches. And that’s true due to the extra pressure on (for me) my cheeks. accessory. However, the ANNAPRO Head Strap pretty much eliminates this problem. That said, it may be less effective for those who find that the Vision Pro makes their neck tired.

The ANNAPRO product is, as the name implies, a head strap that attaches to the Vision Pro and sits atop your head. This allows your noggin to alleviate much of the pressure that would otherwise be on your cheeks and/or noise bridge. As the folks at ANNAPRO put it, the Head Strap “uses a helmet-style design to reduce facial pressure by 60%-90%, making your Vision Pro experience more comfortable.”

And it comes with three sponge pad thicknesses (10mm low/high density and 15mm) to accommodate a variety of head sizes. The ANNAPRO Head Strap also works with Apple’s Solo Knit Band, which is lighter and (for me) more comfortable than the company’s Dual Loop Band.

ANNAPRO says the Head Strap can also be used without Apple’s peripheral-blinding Light Seal. It can, but I recommend it. With the Light Seal, light bleeds into spatial computing scenes, which is especially diluting to immersive environment scenarios.

The ANNAPRO Head Strap is easy to install and doesn’t damage the Vision Pro’s original accessories. You just align and push it into place after removing the official head strap button.

If you have a Vision and use it for more than, say, an hour at a time, the ANNAPRO Head Strap needs to be on your must-buy list.
