Apple releases macOS Sonoma 14.6, iOS 17.6, iPadOS 17.6, tvOS 17.6, watchOS 10.6, and visionOS 1.3

Apple has released macOS Sonoma 14.6, iOS 17.6, iPadOS 17.6, tvOS 17.6, watchOS 10.6, and visionOS 1.3. All offer security improvements and bug fixes.

macOS Sonoma 14.6 can be downloaded by going to System Settings > Software Update.

iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 can be downloaded by going to Settings > General > Software Update on iPhones and iPads. (Apple has also released iOS 15.8.3 and iOS 16.7.9 security updates for devices not able to run ‌iOS 17‌.)

tvOS 17.6 can be downloaded with the Settings app on the ‌Apple TV set-top box‌. Go to System > Software Update. If you have automatic software updates enabled, it should update …. well …. automatically.

‌‌‌watchOS 10‌‌‌‌.6 can be downloaded via the Apple Watch app on an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Open the app, and go to  General > Software Update. To install the operating system update, the smartwatch needs to be charged to at least 50% and be placed on a charger.

‌‌visionOS‌‌ 1.3s can be downloaded on an Apple Vision Pro by going to the Settings app, choosing the General section, and selecting Software Update. The spatial computer must be removed to install new software, with a progress bar available on the front EyeSight display.
