Satechi introduces the USB-C Mobile Pro Hub SD

Satechi has announced a new version of one of its most popular hubs – the US$69.99 USB-C Mobile Pro Hub SD. The upgraded USB-C Mobile Pro Hub SD is made for the iPad M1 and now includes SD and Mirco SD card slots, an extension cable for a more secure connection from the hub to the iPad, and compatibility with cases.

According to the folks at Satechi, the USB-C Mobile Pro Hub SD for iPad M1 allows users to utilize it to its full potential by expanding available ports via a single USB-C connection, including:

  • USB-C PD up to 60W for fast and efficient bidirectional charging to power a 2022 iPad Air M1, 2021 iPad Pro M1, or use as a portable power bank (while connected to iPad) to charge your connected USB-C devices
  • 4K HDMI display (up to 60Hz) for brilliant, high-resolution display from the iPad M1 for hassle-free presentations, conference calls and video streaming. 
  • USB 3.0 port for data transfer (up to 5Gbps), micro/SD card readers (UHS-I), and a 3.5mm headphone jack
