Apple News Items You Should Check out: Sept. 14

Since I can’t cover everything, here are some recommended articles from other websites:

Since I can’t cover everything, I like to offer a daily round-up of must-read articles from some other great websites. To wit:

° From Cult of Mac: Three of the new iPhone 14 series models first reach customers on September 16, but not the iPhone 14 Plus. That’s on hold for three extra weeks. Apple didn’t explain the delay, but an analyst has the likely reason why: Cupertino can’t get enough of a critical component.

° From AppleInsider: A profile of Phil Schiller claims that his insistence on the best user experience in the App Store is putting him at odds with Apple’s business people.

° From MacRumors: The Dark Sky weather app on iOS is reminding users that it will shut down and no longer be supported starting on January 1, 2023, as previously announced.

° From iMore: Australian wireless carrier Optus has already add a number of 2022 iPad Pro models into its inventory system

° From MySmartPrice: The latest iPhone 14 Pro has secured a higher score than the last-gen iPhone 13 Pro in CPU, GPU, Memory, and UX.

° From MacVoices Live! On the new episode, Joe Kissell is back to talk about this latest Take Control book, Take Control of Ventura. Joe provides his thoughts on the upcoming version of macOS, why it won’t be as big as change as some past versions, and what you need to look out for when you do the upgrade. (Part 1)
