The Commuter Backpack offers a durable, classy way to travel with your laptop and accessories

Commuter Backpack

WaterField Designs’ Mezzo Laptop Backpack remains my favorite all-time carrying case for my MacBook Pro and iPad. However, the Harber London Commuter Backpack is a close second.

According to the folks at Harbor London, the Commuter Back “is perfect for your bike ride to work, the gym, a city break and anything in-between.” I’m fortunate enough to work from my home office and don’t have to commute. However, the Commuter Backpack is great for transporting my tech gear when I’m traveling. After all, Apple World Today must be updated even when I’m on-the-go.

The Commuter Backpack is spacious. I can stash my 16-inch MacBook Pro and 12-inch iPad Pro inside it. The Tablet compartment also has a holder for the Apple Pencil and a key latch.

You can also stuff in some extra cables along with needed chargers. However, I wish there was an outside compartment for storing them (as there is is on the Mezzo).

The Commuter Backpack is well designed and comfortable. Dedicated padded compartments with a false bottom protects your electronic goodies from banging on a floor.

There’s a zip guarding your gear under the lid that’s made with a magnetic closure that easily snaps back into place. The Commuter Backpack’s shoulder straps are very comfortable even if you’re saddled up with your electronic gadgets and accessories for a long walk or bike ride.

The Commuter Backpack is also designed with the environment in mind. It’s made with recycled plastic bottle fabric and leather, so it’s both durable and soft.  Aviation grade aluminum buckles add a touch of class.

If you don’t regularly commute with your laptop, you can get a less pricey alternative to the Commuter Backpack. However, if you’re constantly on the move, the Harder London backpack is spacious, comfortable, and durable.

The Commuter Backpack costs approximately US$192. It measures 16.92 x 11.02 x 5.51 inches and is available in olive, black, or mocha flavors.
