Since I can’t cover everything, I’ll often direct your attention to articles of interest. To wit:

° From MacRumors: AFib History, one of watchOS 9’s new health features, this week received regulatory approval in Canada, seemingly making it the first country to do so outside the United States ahead of the release of ‌watchOS 9‌ later this year.

° From AppleInsider: Apple will soon test a pair of new ad placements on the App Store that will give developers more opportunities to get their apps discovered by users.

° From The Mac Observer: Apple has begun selling the iPhone 12 mini in the U.S. Apple Refurbished Store. The 128GB model goes for $579.

° From 9to5Mac: Disney has launched a useful update this week for its streaming service on Apple TV 4K. For those with supported original HomePods, AirPods, or likely other speakers, the Disney+ app now works with Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio.

° From MacVoices Live!: On the new episode, the discussion concludes with more on the Kantar designation of Apple as the world’s most valuable brand. The panel of Chuck Joiner, David Ginsburg, Jay Miller, Jim Rea, Jeff Gamet, Mark Fuccio, and Andrew Orr debate the methodology, but not the result, of that designation and how such designations are used in business.
