11-inch iPad Pro will get an OLED display — eventually

Will the 11-inch iPad Pro eventually sport OLED displays as the 12.9-inch model is expected to do. There have been conflicting reports. However, as noted by MacRumors, according to a report published today by Ross Young, co-founder and CEO of research firm Display Supply Chain Consultants, the 11-inch tablet will get such displays.

Young cited a recent report from Korean website The Elec, which says LG is aiming to supply OLED displays for 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, while Samsung is also said to be aiming to supply OLED displays for the 11-inch model only. However, these iPad Pro models aren’t expected to launch until 2024.
