Incase today announced two new hardshell cases for the 14 and 16 inch 2021 MacBook Pros. The cases use a polycarbonate material for construction. Dots ($54.95) is see-through and covered with a dot pattern for extra grip. The Textured ($74.95) case features Woolenex material on the exterior for a classy look and durable finish. Incase was the manufacturer of the original hardshell MacBook case, so it’s fitting that the company is one of the first to market with a case for the 2021 MBPs.
The cases offer protection with complete access to ports, lights and buttons. Using a thin injected-molded shell and rubberized feet, the Hardshell Cases keep the MacBook Pros free from scratches and dents.
The Dots models come in black, clear or ice pink, while the Textured Hardshell is available in graphite or cobalt. The Textured case uses a Woolenex Polyester material to repel moisture, mildew and chemicals. Woolenex is an ultra-durable polyester-based fabric with the feel of a cotton blend, as well as high resistance to abrasion, stretching, and shrinking.
Apple World Today will feature a full review of the Incase Hardshell Case in the near future.
