Notable apps and updates: October 20

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

macOS

Eversim has introduced Power & Revolution 2021 Edition, their US$24.94 geopolitical simulator expansion for macOS.

It’s a simulation of our current world, recreating its features in-depth and across a number of domains, including economic, political, military, social, financial, environmental, energetic and even transportation.

All countries of the world are represented with their own features. A detailed and animated 3D world map helps to support the players.

iOS

Feral Interactive’s GRID Autosport Custom Edition for iOS and Android is now available to download.

Free to install, the Custom Edition provides a fully-featured trial of GRID Autosport for players to experience at their own pace. With no ads or time-locked mechanics, there is plenty of time to test drive the intense wheel-to-wheel action of the full game in three challenging races.

Once players are ready to step up their racing career, extra disciplines, tracks and cars are offered via in-app purchase, allowing mobile racers to only pay for the game they want to play (regional pricing may vary):

  • Discipline Packs ($2.99 / £2.49 / €2,99 each):
    • Touring
    • Endurance
    • Open Wheel
    • Tuner
    • Street
  • Extra Content Packs ($1.99 / £1.79 / €1,99 each):
    • Sprint
    • Touring Legends

Players can also complete their bundle for a lower price at any time rather than purchasing each pack individually. GRID Autosport Custom Edition is now available as a free download for iOS and Android.
