Apple will ‘Unleash’ new Macs on Monday, October 18

Apple will hold its next special event, dubbed “Unleashed” on Monday, Oct. 18, at 10 am (Pacific). You can view the event online at apple.com or via the Apple TV app.

The event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. However, as with all recent special events, this will be virtual only.will once again be a digital only event.

Almost certain to be announced are new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. And I’m really hoping that we’ll see a new Apple display for those of us who can’t afford the $5,000 Pro Display XDR. Read more details about what I’m expected by clicking here.

BTW, as noted by MacRumors, display analyst Ross Young tweets that the upcoming MacBook Pro models could feature a 120Hz refresh rate.

BTW, part two: as noted by AppleInsider, the Unleashed event announcement has a hidden reality easter egg on iPhone and iPad devices.
