Joerg Garbers has released Guidonian Hand 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

In medieval music, the Guidonian hand was a mnemonic device used to assist singers in learning to sight-sing. With Guidonian Hand, users can learn how it was used and have some fun making music. This app turns images of the Guidonian hand into a keyboard which users can play. Users can also play on photos of real hands thanks to hand recognition.

Guidonian Hand 1.0 is free for a limited time and is available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Music Education category. It requires iOS/iPadOS 14.5 or later.
