Tim Cook is eighth on list of highest paid CEOs and executives in 2020

Fortune has announced the inaugural list of the Fortune 100 Most Powerful People in Business. Apple CEO Tim Cook made the list.

Apple’s Tim Cook placed eighth in the list of highest paid CEOs and executives in 2020, reports Bloomberg. His total compensation (salary, bonus, stock awards, option awards, etc.) was approximately $265 million. 

Cook placed second on the list in 2019. Though his ranking was down, his compensation is up year-over-year. In 2019, he “only” made $134 million. with compensation of 

Ahead of Cook in the top 10 list and their total compensation for 2020 were: Elon Musk of Tesla ($6.7 billion — yep, with a “b”), Mike Pykosz of Oak Street Health ($568 million), Trevor Bezdek of GoodRx Holdings ($499 million), Douglas Hirsch of GoodRx Holdings ($498 million), Eric Wu of Opendoor Technologies ($389 million), Alex Karp of Palantir Technologies ($370 million), Geoffrey Price of Oak Street Health ($221 million). Trailing Cook in the top 10 are Griffin Myers of Oak Street Health ($221 million), and Chad Richison of Paycom Software ($220 million).
