macOS
Metamotifs has announced Auxl 1.0.10, a native API [application programming interface] client. It’s used for building, testing, and troubleshooting HTTP-based API’s.
Auxl supports a wide range of standards, schemes and protocols. Developers can pick and choose from a toolkit of modules, providing a method of interacting with APIs of any complexity, using any combination of REST, GraphQL and WebSocket sources.
Auxl requires macOS 10.15 or later. It costs US$29.99 and is available worldwide exclusively through the Mac App Store in the Developer Tools category. A 21-day demo is available from the Auxl website.
iOS/iPadOS
Signify has redesigned its mobile Philips Hue app. For example, the home screen now shows all of your rooms and zones. You can reorganize them by holding and dragging. There’s also a new automation tab, as well as “Explore” and “Settings” tabs.
The Hue app is available from the Apple App Store for free. Hue lights can be purchased from the Hue website.
