Isle of the Kakapo has rolled out RailModeller Pro 6.4, an update to their track planning app for macOS. The game offers design tools that enable hobbyists to design model train and slot car layouts.
RailModeller Pro includes a library catalog covering over 260 track systems in all major model scales, as well as scalable accessories. Version 6.4 introduces a new search feature, improved Touch Bar support, and more.
RailModeller Pro 6.4 requires macOS 10.12 or later and costs US39.99. It’s available at the Mac App Store in the Graphics and Design category. A free version, RailModeller Express – which is suitable for smaller layouts with a limited number of tracks – is also available through the Mac App Store in the Graphics and Design category.
The newest update of the Linux kernel (version 5.13) has been released and has support for the M1 processor on the latest Macs.
Announced by Linus Torvolds yesterday, the newest version is said to be one of the bigger releases in the version 5 range, with over 16 thousand commits made by over 2 thousand developers.
