No, don’t expect an iPad mini Pro from Apple

According to a post on Korean blog Naver — as noted by MacRumors — Apple will debut an “iPad mini Pro” in the second half of the year. The Sellers Research Group (that’s me) says this ain’t gonna happen.

Naver says the tablet will sport an 8.7-inch display housed in a chassis that has an increased width and reduced height compared to the existing iPad mini 5. However, I predict that we’ll see an iPad mini sooner than the last half of 2021, but it won’t be “pro” model. It will be a revamp of the current mini, but with a mini-LED display and (of course) a performance boost.
