Apple TV’s ‘Cherry’ tops U.S. weekend streaming box office

Reelgood, an U.S. streaming search engine with more than two million monthly active users, says Apple TV’s “Cherry” topped the weekend streaming box office in the U.S.

The data shows a vast majority of users tuned in to watch the movie during its opening weekend, despite less than stellar reviews for the Russo brothers’ latest offering. “Coming 2 America” (Prime Video), “Tom & Jerry” (HBO Max), Nomadland (Hulu), “Boss Level” (Hulu), “Honest Thief” (Prime Video) “Kid 90” (Hulu), and “Yes Day” (Netflix) all made the top 10.

As did another title starring Tom Holland, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (fuboTV), which settled in at 9th place.
