According to AppleInsider, Apple will hold a virtual event to announce the “iPhone 12” on Tuesday, Oct. 13. The tech giant hasn’t announced such an event, but the timetable seems reasonable.
AppleInsider notes that pre-orders for the new smartphones should start on Friday, Oct. 16. Meanwhile, the article says that Eddy Cue has appeared in an internal presentation for a UK carrier about the next iPhone, and its rumored 5G capabilities.
The rumor leaker known as “L0vetodream” says the iPhone 12 models will be titled “iPhone 12 mini,” “iPhone 12,” “iPhone 12 Pro,” and “iPhone 12 Pro Max.” According to L0vetodream, the 5.4-inch model is the iPhone 12 mini, the 6.7-inch model is the iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the two 6.1-inch models being the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.
