The Apple Watch Series 6 — which should arrive in September or October — will add blood oxygen monitoring to its features, according to a new report from DigiTimes.
If true — and the Sellers Research Group thinks it is — it will be an important new health feature because if a person’s blood oxygen mix falls below 90-100%, it can cause serious problems including compromising heart and brain functions.
The Apple Watch Series 6 is also expected to add sleep tracking features. It’s also expected to come with faster performance and better water resistance. However, no revamp of the smartwatch’s design is anticipated.
