As noted by 9to5Mac, the analysts at Wedbush, previously predicted that Apple would go ahead with a September launch for the iPhone 12, says it still expects this to happen, but doesn’t expect all models to be available for purchase until October.
The forecast is no surprise. There’s been lots of speculation over whether the “iPhone 12” would roll out in September, as is usually the case with Apple’s smartphone updates, or if it would be delayed by a month or two due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Sellers Research Group says the iPhone 12 will begin shipping to consumers in mid-October. (By the way, Wedbush is a privately held financial services and investment firm.)
