Another report says the iPhone 12 lineup won’t arrive until October or November

There’s been some debate as to whether Apple’s upcoming iPhone 12 will debut in the early fall timeframe as is the norm with the company’s new smartphone debut. A new report says that the rollout will likely be delayed .

Bloomberg says Hock Tan, CEO of Broadcom (one of Apple’s suppliers for iPhone Wi-Fi chips) expects the iPhone 12 to arrive one quarter later than usual.  This means they may not arrive until October or November. The delay to the new iPhone release is due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has slowed Apple engineer travel to China to finalize the devices and required employees to mostly work from home in the early months of 2020.
