Apple launches ‘Apple Books for Authors’ webpage

Apple has launched a new webpage dubbed “Apple Books for Authors” that “guides you through every step of your journey as an author, from structuring your story to packaging your digital book and selling it on our store.” (That store, of course, is the iBookStore).

The webpage has sections on “explore writing resources,” “get design advice,” “learn about publishing,” “sell your audiobook,” “promote your book,” and “track your sales.” Apple says there are several benefits to publish on Apple Books, including 70% royalties on every book, no delivery fees, no limits on offering free books to customers, and more.
