According to YouTuber and leaker Jon Prosser says he has the info on pricing for the upcoming iPhone 12 line-up. Here’s what he says
° 5.4-inch iPhone 12, OLED display, 5G, two camera system, $649;
° 6.1-inch iPhone 12, OLED, 5G, two camera system, $749;
° 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, OLED, 5G, three camera system and LiDAR, $999.
° 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, OLED, 5G, three camera system and LiDAR; $1,099.
The LiDAR scanner was introduced with the 2020 iPad Pros. Here’s how Apple describes it: “The LiDAR Scanner enables capabilities never before possible on any mobile device, according to Federighi. It measures the distance to surrounding objects up to 5 meters away, works both indoors and outdoors, and operates at the photon level at nano-second speeds.”
The Sellers Research Group (that’s me) says Prosser’s predicted prices sound about right. They’re in the same ball park as the current iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 ProMax prices.
