Big name services announce support for ‘Sign in with Apple’

The New York Times, IFTTT, Medium, Strava, Ritual, Freshii, Fiverr, and more have added support to Apple’s “Sign in with Apple” feature, reports Cult of Mac. This “shows how rapidly adoption of the service is increasing ahead of Apple’s June 30 deadline for apps to implement the feature,” the article adds. This deadline was recently pushed back from April 30.

Introduced in iOS 13, “Sign in with Apple” is designed to make it easy for users to sign in to their apps and websites using their Apple ID. Instead of filling out forms, verifying email addresses, and choosing new passwords, they can use Sign in with Apple to set up an account and start using your app right away. Apple says that all accounts are protected with two-factor authentication for superior security.
