In a note to clients — as noted by MacRumors — analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple plans a 6.7-inch iPhone (or two or three) for release later this year that will sport sensor-shift image stabilization and a larger camera sensor for even better photography features.
Here’s what he’s predicting: The 5.4-inch OLED 6.1-inch OLED and models with rear dual-camera modules, and 6.1-inch OLED with rear triple-cam plus time of flight module will adopt a 1/2.6-inch 7P lens for the wide camera. The 6.7-inch OLED with rear triple-cam and time of flight is said to adopt a 1/1.9-inch 7P lens for the wide camera and support sensor-shift.
Also, at least some (if not all) of the 2020 iPhones are expected to have 5G support.
Chances Kuo’s latest prognostication is on target, according to the Sellers Research Group (that’s me):) 90%. The rumor makes sense and the analyst is the most reliable Apple prophet around.
