News round-up: ‘Hermitage’ video, ‘Central Park’ trailer, more

Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, we’ll frequently offer a wrap-up news items you should check out.

Apple has posted a new video in its “Shot on iPhone” series. Titled “Hermitage,” the one and a half minute video previews footage taken within the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Apple has shared a trailer for Central Park, an upcoming animated musical comedy for Apple TV+. Coming May 29, it follows the exploits of a family living in the world’s most famous park. 

Speaking of the streaming service, actor Arturo Castro (“Alternatino,” “Broad City,” “Narcos”) will star alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the upcoming Apple TV+ comedy series “Mr. Corman,” according to Variety. The series will follow an elementary school teacher grappling with adulthood in Los Angeles. 

A worker at Apple Computer’s European headquarters in Cork has tested positive for coronavirus, reports the Irish Examiner. In an email to workers, the company said they are working closely with the HSE who have reviewed the case and believe the risk to other employees is low but some fellow Apple workers have been told to self-isolate as a precautiion.

Apple has posted the fifth developer betas of macOS 10.15.4, iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, and tvOS 13.4. Registered developers can download the betas via Apple’s developer portal. Or they can be downloaded over-the-air once the proper configuration profile has been installed from the Developer Center.
