YouTube user connects a SCSI drive to an iPhone

I love YouTube videos that highlight those “just because I can” type of situations. YouTube user napabar has posted a video in which he connects a Castlewood ORB SCSI 2.2GB drive to an iPhone, and then accesses it from that iPhone using the Files app. He’s obviously running iOS 13 on this unit.

For our younger readers who didn’t have to suffer through the days of SCSI or Iomega drives, this may look like ancient history. It is very cool to see that people are willing to experiment with old tech to see if it will work with our newest technology!
