The follow-up to Apple’s iPhone SE 2 will be dubbed the “iPhone 9” rather than the “iPhone SE 2,” according to Japanese blog Mac Otakara — as noted by MacRumors.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously predicted sales of 20 million units of the smartphone. He Kuo thinks that Apple will release a lower-priced iPhone SE 2 (though it probably won’t be called that) in the first quarter of 2020 for $399. He predicts the specs will include: an A13 CPU; 3GB of RAM; 64GB and 128GB options; and no 3D Touch feature. Kuo prognostics that the phone will come in silver space grey, and red options.
