Digitimes — which has a mixed track record when it comes to Apple predictions — says its estimate is based on forecasts that the tech gaint has provided to its supply chain partners in order for them to start preparing for the next year’s production ramp. For comparison’s sake, the iPhone 11 line-up is expected to sell around 80 million units by the end of 2019.
