Nimble’s cases for the new 2019 iPhones offer nothing revolutionary when it comes to durability, but they offer one feature that make them worth your consideration: they’re apparently the first 100% recycled phone case.
The Bottle Case collection, which I’ve test driven, is made completely from recycled plastic bottles. Plus, with each Bottle Case sold, Nimble will donate 5% to organizations protecting the planet’s oceans and Marine life.
The Bottle Case — ranging in price from $35.96 to $40.95, depending on the size of your iPhone — is designed with a durable rPET fabric to provide a comfortable hand grip. The protection offered is adequate, but not all-encompassing.
The Bottle Case 2 has all the features (and price range) of the Bottle Case, but is more water resistant and sports a built-in card and ID holder.
Inspired by the ocean, each of the Bottle Case and Bottle Case 2’s color represents a different nonprofit recipient: Coral Reef Alliance (SoftCoral); CarbonFund.org (Glacier); Sea Save Foundation (Deep Sea); The Seabin Foundation (Seagrass); and WILDCOAST (Black Sand).

If you don’t need the most protective case, and want to help the environment, go with the Nimble brand. Just add a screen protector to be on the safe side.
