Former Apple video marketing exec moves to Paramount Pictures

Former Apple exec, Danielle DePalma, has been hired as Paramount Pictures’ executive vice president of Domestic Marketing. She will report to Marc Weinstock, president of Worldwide Marketing & Distribution, and Mary Daily, co-president of Worldwide Marketing & Distribution, according to Deadline.

DePalma, who was once the executive vice president of Worldwide Digital Marketing & Research at Lionsgate, joined Apple as a senior executive on the tech giant’s video marketing team, in April 2019. Her job was to shepherd film and TV series marketing and report to Sony TV alum Chris Van Amburg, Apple’s head of Video Marketing.

DePalma began her new role at Paramount on Sept. 9. She’ll be responsible for helping to develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for new releases, also overseeing domestic digital marketing and data analytics.
