CNN reports that Disney CEO Bob Iger has resigned from Apple’s Board of Directors as the two companies will be competing in the video streaming business.

With the upcoming Disney+ and AppleTV+, both companies will be streaming original TV shows and movies to subscribers. The former is priced at $6.99/month, and the latter $4.99/month (or free for a year if you buy a new Mac, iPhone, or iPad).
Iger had served on Apple’s board since November 2011. He was the chairman of the company’s governance committee and served on the compensation committee.
