Apple hit it out of the park at yesterday’s Worldwide Developer Conference keynote. macOS 10.15? Check. iOS 13? Check. tvOS 13? Check. watchOS 6? Check. New Mac Pro and new Apple display? Check.
However, there are still some questions that weren’t answered:
We were told that the Apple Arcade gaming service is coming this fall. However, pricing still hasn’t been announced.
Ditto the AppleTV+ streaming service. Also coming this fall; also, no price announcement.
We were told again that the Apple Card, a new credit card from the tech giant, is coming “later this summer.” But no launch date was given.
Also, some folks were expecting new MacBooks and the rumored 16-inch MacBook Pro. Neither arrived, although I would’ve been surprised if the latter were previewed, since Apple revamped its pro laptop line on May 21.
I expect we’ll see a MacBook update later this summer or early fall. But I don’t anticipate new MacBook Pros until next spring.
