Scosche’s USB-C to Lightning Power Delivery cables give us what Apple hasn’t

Scosche’s new MFI-certified USB-C to Lightning Power Delivery cables are very useful for connecting and syncing Apple Lightning devices with USB-C enabled devices. My favorite is the $19.99, four-foot TPE USB-C to Lightning cable dubbed Strikeline.

It’s MFI Certified by Apple to guarantee compatibility with anyLightning device. The Strikeline is made of durable Thermoplastic elastomers. When used with a Scosche USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charger, it charges Lightning devices like iPhones and iPads, at 3X the rate of a regular charger and cable.

The Stikeline delivers both data and power. The USB-C connector is reversible, so there’s no “upside down.

The Scosche USB-C PD uses a universal power delivery system, so you don’t have to be concerned about wattage levels. If a device doesn’t support PD, the charger and cable will default to what the phone can safely support.

Apple still provides their consumers with outdated 5W chargers that they’ve been using since 2007. So there’s a lot to like about the Scosche line-up.
