Samsung Display has sent samples of a foldable display to Apple, so we could, theoretically, see a foldable iPhone next year — though I’m dubious. According to a translation of a report on South Korea’s ET Times.
The samples reportedly measure 7.2 inches. ET Times also claims that while Samsung is currently able to produce about 2.4 million foldable displays per year, the company may ramp up the capability to 10 million.
