Rumor: Apple’s AirPower will arrive before month’s end

I predicted that Apple’s AirPower would debut this week, but I was obviously wrong. A new rumor from DigiTimes says the long-awaited wireless charger will arrive before the end of the month (that would be Sunday, March 31).

The Sellers Research Firm (that’s me) says the rumor is true, and that we’ll see the device within a week. The AirPower — which was first announced over two years ago — will be able to charge a Qi-compatible iPhone, an Apple Watch, and a pair of AirPods (in a special wireless charging case) at the same time regardless of where they’re placed on the pad. It hasn’t been priced yet, but guesses have it costing anywhere from $150 – $200.
