OWC announces 2019 family of Mercury Elite Pro mini storage solutions

OWC has announced its 2019 family of Mercury Elite Pro Mini storage solutions with Thunderbolt 3 compatibility and designed for client meetings, studio sessions and on-set downloads.

It offers bus-powered plug-and-play connectivity. Larry O’Connor, OWC founder and CEO, notes that you can choose from either a 2.5-inch Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive or a Solid State Drive (SSD) design —  both with a heat-dissipating, fanless design.

The Pro mini — enclosed in impact resistant brushed aluminum — offers eSATA and USB-C connection options, delivering up to 540MB/s transfer speeds with models offering up to 4TB storage capacity. The Mercury Elite Pro mini USB-C is available at MacSales.com in prices ranging from $74.99 to $499.99.
