InvisibleShield launches Glass+ VisionGuard for new iPads

InvisibleShield has announced InvisibleShield Glass+ VisionGuard specifically designed to protect users of the Apple 11-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and existing 9.7-inch iPad from the harmful effects of high-energy visible (HEV) blue light. It was named a CES 2019 Innovation Awards Honoree.

Whether at work, school, or home, people are using digital devices for business, educational, and entertainment purposes. As device use increases, so does exposure to HEV blue light. Overexposure may negatively affect eye health, especially in children according to Steve Bain, general manager for InvisibleShield.

He adds that the all-new Glass+ VisionGuard for compatible iPads features a protective Eyesafe technology layer to protect all users – children included – from harmful HEV blue light from device screens, offering protection that goes beyond avoiding a shattered screen.

Glass+ VisionGuard features Ion Matrix technology to strengthen glass at the molecular level, removing impurities and reinforcing glass edges to prevent chips and cracks. The precision surface finishing process provides maximum scratch protection and oil-resistance and prevents fingerprint smudges from accumulating, Bain says.

InvisibleShield Glass+ VisionGuard for the Apple 11-inch iPad Pro ($64.99), Apple 12.9-inch iPad Pro ($74.99), and Apple 9.7-inch iPad ($59.99) is available at InvisibleShield.com. Glass+ VisionGuard is also available for the Apple iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone XsMax, iPhone Xr, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Google Pixel 3, and Pixel 3XL, all of which may be found here.
