CES: Eve Systems previews Energy Strip, Light Strip

At this week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Eve Systems has announced the Eve Energy Strip and the Eve Light Strip.

The former is a triple outlet that supports Apple’s HomeKit technology, autonomous schedules, power consumption monitoring, and advanced safety features. The Eve Energy Strip sports black housing enveloped in an aluminum frame.

According to the Eve Systems CEO Jerome Gackel, thanks to sophisticated protection mechanisms against power surges, overvoltage and overcurrent, connected devices are immune to virtually any electrical faults. Eve Energy Strip will be available for $119 starting in March.

The HomeKit-compatible Eve Light Strip provides up to 1800 lumens and triple diode architecture for full spectrum white and millions of colors. Gackel says it’s perfect for accent lighting,  as well as general lighting purposes.

The 6.6-foot strip can be cut at one-foot intervals to accommodate smaller fittings and fixtures, such as picture frames and cabinets, or extended up to 32.8 feet to adorn stairways and suspended ceilings. The Eve Light Strip will be available next month for $79.
