HYPER previews its HyperDrive USB-C hub for the new iPad Pro

HYPER by Shano Corp. has announced the HyperDrive USB-C Hub for the new iPad Pros. It connects directly to the tablet to add six additional ports: 4K HDMI, 35mm audio jack, SD, micro SD, USB-A 3.0, and USB-C power delivery.

The HyperDrive plug-in adapter features a (patent pending) removable and replaceable C-shape grip designed to hold the USB-C hub securely in place. Users can leave the HyperDrive connected to the iPad Pro to have access to all the ports they need, without worrying about dangling cabled dongles, according to the folks at HYPER.

It’s available in space gray or aluminum models. The HyperDrive, which works with both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros, has a removable and replaceable translucent C-shape grip made of soft polycarbonate and ABS material designed to securely holds the USB-C hub in place without blemishing the tablet’s surface.

The HyperDrive for iPad Pro will be available in December for $49 for customers who signup here. The regular manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $99.
