Apple reportedly will lower iPhone Xr prices in Japan

According to The Wall Street Journal, less than a month after releasing the iPhone Xr, Apple is moving to offer subsidies to mobile-network operators in Japan to shore up sales of its least expensive new smartphone, which is being beaten insoles by the iPhone 8.

What’s more, the WSJ says that the tech giant is restarting production of the iPhone X for sale in certain markets due in part to Apple’s contract requirements with Samsung Display. Apparently, Apple has to meet minimum order requirements of OLED display panels.
