Apple Pay cash gaining customers in a variety of areas

Apple Pay appears to be gaining customers and making gains in areas from mobile apps to physical stores thanks to more installed equipment in stores and a new feature called Apple Pay Cash, according to Bloomberg.

What’s more, the article claims that the company is going neighborhood by neighborhood trying to get U.S. retailers and consumers to use the mobile payment service — at least in Chicago. Apple Pay already is used by hundreds of thousands of websites and in 85 of the top 100 global e-commerce apps.

Apple Pay is currently available in 22 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, the U.S., Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Poland, and the United Arab Emirates.

Apple Pay allows users to make and receive payments with friends and family quickly and securely. They can send money and get paid right in Messages, or tell Siri to pay someone, using the credit and debit cards they already have in Wallet.
